The original method is to create tiny spheres in which charged pigments are suspended in transparent oil and will move according to the electrical charge. The electronic paper screen displays patterns by reflecting ambient light, so it has no background light requirements. In the sun, the electronic paper screen still has a wide viewing angle of 180 degrees and high visibility. This is ideal for e-reading. After the screen is powered off, the last screen can still be retained for a long time, which can be as long as half a year. Therefore, it has also been widely used in the field of electronic labels for display applications such as shelf labels and industrial instruments.
