This kit is much stronger than a 12 mm or 9 mm kit which are known to slip and suffer from belts breaking under hard acceleration. A belt driven electric skateboard is much more efficient than a Hub motor setup due to the torque multiplication of gears. You will go faster and go farther with a belt driven setup.
