Product Description.
-This is a fan that uses thermoelectricity as an energy source to circulate the hot air produced by the wood burning fireplace. The fan has a thermoelectric module that acts as a small generator to drive the fan’s motor. When this generator module experiences a difference in heat between the top and bottom surfaces, it generates an electric current. The bottom of the fan heats the bottom surface of the module, while the top of the module is kept cool by the top heatsink of the fan,ithout any batteries or power supply!
-This means that by placing it on top of the burning stove, it absorbs heat energy to drive the fan rotation, thus blowing hot air from above the wood burning fireplace directly into the living area, increasing the air circulation in the room and improving the heating efficiency of the fireplace.
-The speed of rotation of the fan varies depending on the temperature of the wood burning stove, the higher the cooker temperature the faster the rotation speed, when the stove temperature is so low that the fire goes out the rotation speed slows down until it stops.
How to use and precautions:
1. Place the stove fan on a smooth flat surface of the stove top, near the side or back of the chimney.
2. The stove fan is designed for use on a freestanding cooker with a chamber surface temperature between 65°C and 350°C. Temperatures above this range may damage the fan and generator set and invalidate your warranty.
