Hard coat type 3 milspec anodized finish with solid precision machined construction. The gas tube mounts to the micro gas block just like it would to your regular A2 post gas block. 750 is used when installing a rifle length quadrail to allow the quadrail to slide through the barrel.  It is sleek and small to allow a longer rail to be placed.
